About Liger Watches

– designed, manufactured and assembled in Norway

The journey of Liger Watches started in Lørenskog, Norway in 2009. Everything started with simple drawings that during the years developed into more and more detailed ideas.

After several years with pencil and paper, it was time for the drawings to materialize into a real product. At this time Liger Watches made the decision that would be a big defining factor of the brand – Norwegian Made!

Liger Watches wanted to produce as much of the watch as possible in Norway. This ment that the playful drawings of the early stage now had to be turned into perfected technical drawings.

While the patents were being made and the drawings of each part were perfected, the prototyping began. But it would take many years of drawing and prototyping before we reached the models of LW that we see today.

Liger Watches stayed true to the first design during the whole process and the result is the models LW.

Even if the design was made over a decade ago, it has been important to us to follow thru the simple drawings that started the journey of Liger Watches.

When you purchase a Liger watch today, you are purchasing more than just a watch. This is an experiment, a passion, a childhood drawing that finally became professionalized.

Liger Watches

The name Liger is inspired from the animal Liger which is a mix between a Lion and a Tiger.

The Ligers characteristics is a red line in all our work. The unique balance between elegant and powerful is something that we strive to incorporate in all our models.
